How do I login ?

First you must choose a category from the homepage. At the top of that category page you will see a link to Login. Simply click on this link.

How do I know if I have successfully logged in ?

After logging into our system, your webpage will be divided into two parts. On the left hand side of the page you will see "Welcome" next to your username. At the top of the right hand side page you can see the message "You have successfully logged-into our system"

How do I remove an advertisement I have on this site ?

There are two ways to delete your advertisements:
1) Login to our site with your username and password. Locate your advertisement. On the left side of your advertisement you should see a link that says "delete ad". Simply click on this link.
2) Login to our site with your username and password. On the left side you can see a link that says "List my ads".
Click on this link to view all your advertisements. Next to each advertisement you will see a "delete ad" link.

How do I edit an advertisement I have on this site ?

How do I contact a seller ?

To contact the seller simply click on the "send email" link next to the advertisement.

How do I place an advertisement ?

To place an advertisement simply choose a category from the homepage by clicking on the category link. At the top of the page you will see the link "click here to Sign Up". Simply click on this link. After signing up for membership make sure that you have successfully logged in (see above question). After successfully logging in look for the "place ad " link on the left side. Simply click on this link. Make sure you have chosen the correct category.

How do I cancel my membership ?

To cancel your membership just send an email to "cancel@winnipegbuyandsell.com". In your email please include your username.

I recently added my website to your directory but i cannot see it. Can you tell me why ?

Please be patient. We will review all websites that are suggested to our directory in time. Currently we review sites about once a month.

Your site will not be added if it :
1) contains illegal content or promotes illegal activity.
2) is incomplete (still under construction).
3) contains broken graphics or links that aren't good candidates for our directory.
4) consists largely of affiliate links

I am trying to add a picture and I am getting the error: "You have uploaded an invalid picture file", or blank page but I am definitely uploading the correct image file.

Tips

1) Before uploading your picture, change the file name of the picture to something short and simple avoiding special characters such as "&" or "!" example: mycouch.jpg
2) If a photo is too large it will be resized when you upload it. However some photos maybe so large that they cause the server to timeout and you will get the "invalid picture file" error. Solution: reduce your photo file size.
3) If you are uploading two pictures then try uploading one picture at a time. Solution: Upload the first picture and then edit(change) the advertisement to add a second picture.
